HERE, WE ONLY CRY HAPPY TEARS

Full Service Offerings

What you can expect…

From start to finish, my design process will be tailored to your vision. But first, a form and a phone call.

First, fill out my inquiry form and gather your questions. During our call, you’ll ask your questions, I’ll answer them, and we can talk allll about your wedding! If you’d like to move forward after the first consultation, I’ll send over a contract and start working on your proposal before we lock anything in. Then I can start creating mood boards and mock-ups of your invitations.

Second, you’ll receive your welcome packet and gift! I’ll start curating the paper and finalizing the design of your stationery, and when you decide it’s ready, I’ll send it off to production.

Third, if you’ve selected one of my At-Home Kits, you’ll receive everything in the mail for you to assemble and mail yourselves. If you opted for a Full-Service package, you can sit back, relax, and wait for the excited phone calls from loved ones who just received the most lovely invitations ever!

FAQs

  • Digital printing is the standard method, but I also offer digital foil, letterpress, white ink, foil press, metallic ink, embossing, die cutting... pretty much anything you can think of. I also offer handmade paper, double and triple thick paper (even quadruple thick, if you're feeling really fancy), and other fun mediums.

  • Letterpress is an antique printing method that uses a metal plate made in the image of your text or illustration. That plate is sometimes inked, or uses a sheet of foil to press into paper, leaving behind a beautiful raised or sunken texture.

  • I am a firm believer that it's never too early to start thinking of your stationery. I want to create fun, beautiful stationery for you, with plenty of time for revision and sourcing materials, so I recommend booking at least 7 months before your wedding date. Depending on the complexity of your package, design and production can take anywhere from 3-4 months, depending on the season, and you'll still want time for mailing. So, 7 months gives plenty of time.

If you're at the 5-6 month mark before you're wedding, no worries. Depending of what you're looking for, that's still plenty of time to make lovely stationery, you just limit your options for some specialty processes, like letterpress.

  • In an attempt to fill the gap for eloping couples who may need faster turn-around times, I created the "At-Home Kits". You still get to experience the custom design process, at a more affordable cost. You will receive all your printed materials and embellishments, and a detailed guide for assembling your stationery. Open a bottle of wine, start a movie, and get your envelope moisteners ready!

  • This is something we’ll go over in consultations and while reviewing your proposal with more detail, but here’s the gist so you’re more prepared:

The short answer is yes. If you’d like to provide your own stamps (modern or vintage) for your project, I’m happy to use them as long as they were purchased from the Post Office or certified vendor of USPS postage. If you bought your stamps for “real cheap” online somewhere, I probably won’t use them without having you sign a Postage and Mailing Waiver. There are a lot of shady people in the world who sell fake stamps, and I can’t think of anything worse than spending all that time on your beautiful invitations, just for them to all bounce back because of fake postage. So, as long as your stamps were purchased from the Post Office or a certified vendor for stamps, I can use postage that you provide.

If you do intend to buy your own postage, I’d recommend doing it ASAP. The cost of stamps increases twice a year, like clockwork. The earlier you buy your stamps, the better. Stamps retain their value, and the value of Forever stamps increases with the cost of mailing. But remember, your stationery may need more than a single Forever Stamp if it’s an irregular shape or is too bulky, so be sure to consult USPS’s webpage about to send a letter or postcard in the U.S.
